Choose the right size for your advertising notebooks

At Connectad, we offer a wide variety of promotional notebooks that have gained popularity for their quality, design, and price.

Exceptionally effective in merchandising, branded notebooks provide a lasting platform for your branding. If you choose them, you’ll be offering a useful product that your clients, employees, or partners will greatly appreciate. Below, we provide tips to help you choose the best notebooks for your marketing needs, brand values, and budget. We explain how to determine the ideal notebook size, the best cover type, and the most suitable printing technique for each case. We also highlight why choosing one of our sustainable online personalized notebooks might be the best option.

Connectad’s customizable notebooks come in a wide range of sizes, but it's important to determine the ideal one based on the intended purpose and usefulness of the item. Among the models in our online store, you’ll find these four sizes:

    • A5 (14.8 x 21 cm) – The most common size for promotional notebooks with logos. Large enough for comfortable note-taking in meetings or conferences while being compact enough for easy transport.
    • A4 (21 x 29.7 cm) – Ideal for situations requiring extensive note-taking, such as training courses or seminars.
    • A6 (10.5 x 14.8 cm) – Perfect for events where a small, handy, and portable promotional item is needed.
    • Pocket notebooks – Ideal giveaways for trade fairs, conferences, and events where participants need something lightweight and easy to carry.

Different types of covers for your promotional notebooks

Both notepads and notebooks serve as writing tools but differ in design, functionality, and durability. Notepads consist of loose sheets bound with glue or a spiral, making them easy to tear off—perfect for quick notes, lists, or temporary reminders. In contrast, notebooks contain bound or sewn pages, preventing them from easily detaching, making them a more durable choice for school notes, important records, or personal journals.

The cover type is another key factor influencing product perception and longevity.

    • Hardcover notebooks offer exceptional durability and a premium finish, making them ideal for professional and long-term use.
    • Softcover notebooks are more affordable and lightweight, making them perfect for large-scale distribution at mass events.
    • Ring-bound notebooks provide extra sturdiness and ease of writing, even while standing, making them perfect for dynamic environments.

Notebooks with logos: sustainable or not? Which one should you buy?

Sustainability is another crucial factor when selecting promotional notebooks. Eco-friendly customized notebooks, made from sustainable materials such as recycled paper or cardboard, are an excellent choice for businesses looking to showcase a commitment to environmental protection.

Companies often gift these eco-friendly notebooks along with other sustainable products to reinforce their environmental message. Visit our website to explore our full line of eco-friendly products and create your perfect sustainable giveaway.

Choosing an eco-friendly notebook will strengthen your company’s social responsibility and sustainability image. If you prefer a non-eco-friendly notebook, you’ll have a wider selection of designs and colors to choose from. Many models also include additional features such as personalized notebook and pen sets, pen holders, or inner pockets for added practicality.

Where to place the logo on personalized notebooks

The placement of your company’s logo on the notebook is a crucial decision that maximizes brand visibility.

The most common choice is to place the logo on the front cover, ensuring visibility whenever the notebook is used. Placing it on the back cover is a more subtle approach, often complementing front cover branding. Having a visible logo on both sides reinforces brand identity and maximizes exposure, ensuring the design is recognized from any angle. This strategy is particularly effective for corporate events, conferences, or promotional materials, as it increases visual impact and strengthens brand presence in the user’s mind.

Regardless of placement, branded notebooks provide ample space for not just logos but also additional messages or images that enhance brand promotion.

Another option is to include the logo inside the notebook. Placing it at the top of each page acts as a subtle yet constant brand reminder. This method is commonly used for premium notebooks.

    Customization Techniques for Branded Notebooks

We offer a variety of branding techniques to customize notebooks with your logo:

    • Screen Printing – One of the most popular and cost-effective methods. This technique ensures long-lasting ink application, ideal for simple logos and graphics. It works on almost any material and is perfect for large print runs due to its efficiency.
    • Embossing – Creates a raised design on the surface, particularly appealing on materials like faux leather or synthetic leather, adding a luxurious and high-quality feel.
    • Digital Printing – Recommended for complex designs or full-color images. It offers great versatility and precision, making it perfect for strong visual impact or highly specific styles.
