Connectad in Düsseldorf Attending PSI, Europe's Leading Promotional Gift Fair
In early January, the Connectad team traveled to Düsseldorf to attend PSI, the most important promotional gadget trade show in Europe and one of the top global events, featuring nearly 1,000 exhibitors from 39 countries.
As you know, at Connectad we love traveling the world to discover new ideas and innovative products. In this post, we’d like to share with you the trends, concepts, and corporate gifts that stood out to us during our visit to the German city. We believe many of these new ideas can be a perfect fit for your next promotional campaigns.
Trade shows always manage to surprise us — technology is on the rise, and the creativity we see is truly impressive. Attending these events gives us a fresh boost of motivation and inspiration to keep pushing forward with impactful promotional products.
Our Favorite Promotional Gadgets
This year we want to highlight the wide range of colors, finishes, and clever designs in gadgets and items that, until now, were mostly available in standard or classic styles. Water bottles, power banks, writing instruments, notebooks… Another major highlight was the variety of mugs and bottles in all kinds of finishes and shapes, customized to fit the customer’s needs. Matte, glossy, soft-touch, textured, or pneumatic finishes…
One product that really caught our attention was something we had never seen before.
A foldable ping pong table made of cardboard, fully customizable in full color. It folds into a suitcase, and when unfolded, becomes a ping pong table complete with paddles and a ball — perfect for booths, offices, or retail spaces. Another innovative item was the customizable makeup sponge, available in any color and with branded logos. In Germany, food-related promotional gifts are especially popular — we saw candy shaped like bones and all kinds of sweets with logos. It was definitely something different!
We were also impressed by the clever displays full of lights and vibrant colors that instantly caught people’s attention as they walked by.
Lastly, we want to highlight two very original items: fully customizable socks (any color, any logo) — a fun and creative option for brands looking to stand out — and something completely unexpected: a plant.
