Protective merchandising for clients and employees after Covid-19
New essential products have become part of our daily lives due to Covid-19, a virus that caused a global pandemic and changed routines for both individuals and businesses. Connectad, whose mission is to support all types of companies, brings them all together.
There are two main categories of face masks: disposable and reusable. These fall into three types:
- FFP2 Masks: maximum protection, for medical use (protecting both inward and outward).
- Surgical Masks: outward protection, preventing our viruses from spreading. These are recommended for those with symptoms or illness. They must be certified.
- Hygienic Masks: outward protection. These are approved by the government to meet the high demand. They serve the same purpose as surgical masks but are not equally certified and offer a lower level of protection.
At Connectad, in line with our sustainability goals, we’ve chosen to focus on reusable masks, which can be washed and reused, reducing single-use products and conserving resources.
Another essential item alongside masks is hand sanitizer gel, which allows us to constantly disinfect our hands when touching potentially contaminated surfaces. Whether in public or private spaces, sanitizer gels and disinfection points are crucial at business entrances, ensuring that customers enter “disinfected” and do not “contaminate” the items they touch inside.
Gloves are also widely used, especially at supermarkets or stores where frequent product handling is required.
These three products make up what we call a protection kit — widely used by companies to show their care for both employees and clients.
It's a highly effective way to convey that concern — by sending personalized protection kits containing masks, sanitizers, gloves, or other items that help prevent contagion.
Other useful gadgets include those that help prevent direct contact with surfaces. For instance, anti-contact keychains like the Dumbo or our colorful anti-contact keys. We also have Flipper, which attaches to door handles so they can be opened without touching them directly. Other sought-after products include object sterilizers, ideal for disinfecting high-touch items like mobile phones throughout the day.
Another major factor in our new routines is maintaining proper social distancing.
How are companies maintaining social distancing for their teams and clients?
In addition to remote work, which will remain significant in the coming years, ensuring a safe physical workspace for employees who can’t work from home is now mandatory.
Workplaces and leisure spaces such as cinemas, restaurants, theaters, etc., must use products that help maintain the minimum required distance or provide a protective barrier between individuals. Examples include protective screens and banners that block or minimize physical contact in shared spaces.
At Connectad, we provide all the necessary products to protect companies and their teams.
